To Mount Holyoke Again

Spent the past two days driving my daughter Mary up to Mount Holyoke for her senior year. It was a pleasant trip; no traffic to speak of, good company (on the way up, anyway), lovely weather. We listened to Neil Gaiman's new collection of short stories, Trigger Warnings, which is uneven but has some very good and creepy stories.

Arrival.

Mary's dorm.

If, as people often say, Mount Holyoke looks like Hogwarts, then the basement where Mary lives is very Slytherin.

Dim, blurry photo of basement room, where her college adventure continues.
