The Siberian city of Irkutsk, not far from Lake Baikal, is the center of a delightful tradition of wooden architecture. The city also has an attractive central business district and likes to call itself the "Paris of Siberia," which is a rather strange thing to say when you think about it, but it is these wooden houses that grab my attention.
