Pineapples Don't Have Sleeves

This little reading and question set from New York's standardized testing has become a rallying cry for anti-test activists. And it is a bit bizarre.

On the other hand, none of these questions has the sweeping unanswerability of this one from Virginia's standards for ninth grade civics:
The student will explain the rights, responsibilities, and benefits of citizenship in the United States and Virginia.
