A Mongoose on a Leash

Recently cleaned Egyptian tomb painting, 4,000 years old, shows what archaeologists say is a mongoose on a leash. This is the only such depiction from the ancient world. Mongooses have never been truly domesticated but they are occasionally kept as pets.
