A Great Day for Archaeology

It was a fabulous day in Delaware, 68 degrees, partly sunny, a light breeze. We are pushing to finish the site we are working on by tomorrow, so our crew can move onto another project next week. We got more than half the remaining work done today, so it looks good for finishing tomorrow. Everyone was in good spirits and we found some interesting things. Above, Jason shows off an intact bottle found in a well filled in around 1920. Below, a coin from 1825 that I found but, without my glasses on, didn't realize was a coin until my screening partner told me.
