Cassini Mission Approved to Continue
NASA's ongoing planetary exploration projects have to be approved every year by a scientific committee before the managers can even try to get funding for them; the news this week was that all the ongoing missions, including Cassini at Saturn and Curiosity on Mars, have been approved to go ahead. At the moment NASA still doesn't have the money for them, but at least they can start asking. Above, Cassini image of two of Saturn's moons, Rhea and Titan.
