Chinese archaeologists have announced the discovery of amazing textiles in the double tomb of a noble couple buried near the coastal city of Taizhou around 1550 CE. A banner in the woman's chamber identifies her as Lady Xu, Deceased Mother of the Wang family of the Ming Dynasty. Above, silken robe from the wife's tomb showing a kylin.
