A huge storm is raging through downtown Washington right now (7:50 AM), with constant lightning, tree limbs down in the streets, and so much rain that water is fountaining six feet high out of the drains in front of my building. Fortunately I got here well before this started, because I bet things are very ugly on the streets and the beltway right now.
