Migsihi Kōtarō

Migsihi Kōtarō (1903-1934) was a Japanese artist who painted in a European style, much influenced by French avant garde art; he even staged one exhibit in Paris before he died young. His most famous painting these days is Butterflies above Clouds, which was also one of his last, dated 1934.
