Croatian archaeologists have unearthed a Roman wooden boat on the waterfront of Poreč, a town on the Adriatic coast.
The interesting thing about it is that it was sewn together, as boats often were in those days, and part of the sewing has been wonderfully preserved. More at The History Blog.
