How to Exclude Everyone

The world we live in:

The beauty and personal-care company Unilever said on Tuesday that it would no longer use the word “normal” on its products or in its advertising, after a study revealed that it makes most people feel excluded.

You have to love a society in which most people feel abnormal.

Perhaps instead of feeling "abnormal," people feel "special" or "unusual" or even "unique" (Though most of that group probably don't realize that one cannot be "somewhat unique" or "very unique" -- it's all or nothing with "unique.")

"Normal' is bland, dull, ordinary, totally unexceptional. Who wants to be those things?!?
