Along the Patapsco
I spent part of my holiday yesterday walking in the state park, taking the long walk along the Patapsco River. The sun was brilliant, slanting at the low angle of winter, lighting up the sycamore trees along the other bank while I walked in shadow.
The trail runs for more than a mile along the berm of an old mill race that used to run from the dam near Rt. 40 to the power plant in Oella. This makes for an easy if none-too-exciting stroll. It felt good to walk off some holiday calories in the winter air.
