The Izu Shabonten Zoo in Shizuoka, Japan is using stuffed capybaras
to help maintain social distancing in their cafeteria.
Capybaras are a big draw for the zoo, which provides them with hot tubs in the winter, and people love seeing them cram into the hot tub side by side to keep warm. So that's why they have so many stuffed ones on hand.
Capybaras are one my absolute favorite animals. They're just so laid back and relaxed about everything, and they're friendly and just want to have a good time.
