Sense in Missouri
The Missouri legislature failed to override their governor's veto of their bizarre nullification bill, which threatened to arrest federal officers who tried to enforce federal gun laws in the state. That this is flagrantly unconstitutional and would have been thrown out by the first judge who set eyes on it seems not to have bothered Missouri's Republican legislators at all. But thanks to governor Jay Nixon's veto and a stand by Democratic legislators we won't have to watch that stupid spectacle this year.
