Bronze Age Game Nut
This collection of what archaeologists take to be gaming pieces was unearthed from a tomb at Başur Höyük in Turkey. The tomb is about 5,000 years old, making these the oldest such artifacts yet found. I find it amusing to think that this is the grave of the world's first board game fanatic, who was constantly bugging his friends to play his latest game or modification with him.
