The Prince of Pleasure's Gothic Candelabrum

Now in the Huntington Library, this candelabrum was one of a set of ten made for the Gothic conservatory that Thomas Hopper installed in Carlton House, the London residence of George IV when he was the Prince Regent. It is made of "Coade-stone," a sort of concrete developed in the 1760s. Pictures are from the Huntington's delightful tumblr.
