Things Change

From an interview with two former residents on Catoctin Mountain, about the 1930s:

Interviewer: How about venison? were there much deer up in this area, when you were growing up?

Ms. Draper: None.

Ms. Alland: Yeah -- that's what Hidy Wilhide said, he said 1930-some he saw a deer and he said people came from miles just to see the tracks.
