Invictus
It turns out that Nelson Mandela and Timothy McVeigh had something in common: in prison, they both copied out the poem "Invictus," by William Henley. McVeigh made it his "last testament" (above -- click to enlarge). Courage is a double-edged sword. Heroes need it, but so do villains. A man who will fight against a whole society is an amazing thing to behold; unless it is our society, in which case it is a terrifying thing to behold.
