Seven Sisters Dreaming, 2010. Michelle Possum Nungurrayi is an Australian Aboriginal artist, born 1969. She grew up "in the bush way" in the Anmatyerre Tribe and now lives in Melbourne.
Womens Dreaming, 2012. The titles of these works are suggestive. Traditional Aboriginal art derives from shamanistic exploration of the "Dream Time," where the first ancestors still live. So by titling these "dreaming" the artist is invoking that shamanistic vision. Besides, they look really cool.
