Dogs Know You Can't See in the Dark
Researchers carried out a study of 84 food-loving adult dogs, all of whom were told not to touch a piece of food on the floor. Then they waited to see what would happen. The dogs were four times more likely to steal the food if the room was dark. More evidence, if any were needed, of the remarkable degree to which dogs and people understand each other.
