Mayan Flintworking

The greatest flintknappers of history were probably Mayan. Not satisfied with making gorgeous spearheads and knives, they also made these crazy things that archaeologists call "eccentric flints." Above, a crocodile or crocodile god, about 25 cm (10 inches) long.
