I don't really like this building, but better this striking shape than another blah rectangle. Sometimes, as a friend of mine likes to say, it is more important to be interesting than to be good. The biggest weakness is that while the shape looks striking from a distance, the building sits on a huge concrete slab and some street level views are dominated by that concrete mass.
Nicolai Ouroussoff says this "may be the greatest work of architecture built in this century," to which I can only say that it's fortunate the century is still young.
