As I discovered at the Home Depot last week, you can either get your brightly colored cacti by buying grafted plants like these.

Or, if you are having trouble keeping the grafted ones alive, which I hear is a problem, you can buy them with brightly colored plastic hats that last for decades. Who says we don't live in an amazing world?
