The Viking Woman of Revinge, or, How to Wear at Trefoil Brooch
This gilded figure was found by a metal detectorist near Revinge in Denmark. It dates to Viking times, around 800 CE. The most interesting thing about it is the detailed depiction of a noble woman's dress, including trefoil brooch shown at her belt. More at the History Blog.
