The Smallest Vertebrate

Paedophryne amauensis, a recently discovered frog that inhabits New Guinean rain forests. Yes, that's a dime it's sitting on.

This is interesting. Last summer my husband and I kept finding miniature versions of pond frogs. They looked exactly as you would think, but tiny, tiny. We could find nothing on the internet like them. Hmmm.

We grew tiny frogs like that from the tadpoles we found in the woods. I really don't think they were any bigger.
