Cao Comes Through

When Joseph Cao won a house seat from New Orleans, I singled out this Republican immigrant from Vietnam and former Jesuit seminarian as a remarkable American story. Now he has repaid my praise by becoming the only Republican to vote for the House health care bill. I would be a lot more excited about this bill, which passed 220-215, if I thought it had any chance in the Senate.
