A Strange Place to Live

The proprietors of the Cavin-Morris Gallery in New York, whose stuff I feature here from time to time, posted these pictures of their residence.

I look at these and think, How can anybody live like that? I mean, the art is amazing, but who could be comfortable surrounded by so much expensive, fragile stuff? I would have to tiptoe around, elbows in, and chances are I would still knock something over at least once a week. Yow.

Imagine stumbling on those stairs.
