I haven't planted morning glories in years. They have become one of my most persistent weeds, though, so I never lack them. In spring I treat them as weeds, too: I pull up every one I can find, lest they strangle all of my sunflowers and zinnias. Eventually, though, I get slack and they find hiding places under the other growing plants, and I let a few alone. They love my garden, so half a dozen plants is enough to fill the garden with their blooms.
I rarely see them, though, since I leave home in the dark most weekday mornings and spend my weekend mornings writing or running errands. So I occasionally make a point of going out to enjoy them.
