Mother's Day

For the past two days the wind has been howling here, 30, 40, 50 miles per hour. So when Ben and I took a walk in the woods this morning, the ground was littered with leaves and branches like the aftermath of a bad storm. Ben was fascinated by the fallen tulip poplar flowers, and we gathered a bouquet for Lisa for Mother's Day.

I post it here for you, Lisa, and for all the mothers whose eyes may fall upon it.
