motto of my alma mater, Temple University
That Turkish one is curious, both for the fact that it is in Latin and for the motto itself, which seems like an obvious secularist challenge to the Qur'an. According to Wikipedia, the university's motto is "To the leading edge... Toward being the best..."
Source for this was wikipedia's list of college mottos; I wonder if maybe someone slipped in an anti-religious and inaccurate entry.
