A Merovingian Chamber Grave at Eckwersheim, France

Frankish warrior's grave of c. 600 CE uncovered during excavations for the TGV train tracks in Alsace. More here.

Decorative sheath of the Seax.

Reconstruction of the tomb.

And a necklace or collar of beads, from another burial in the same cemetery.

Hi there,

The item which you've labelled 'elaborate sword belt' actually shows the decorative studs which are set into the top of the seax sheath.
The picture of the beads is from another burial, not the warrior burial.
