The Humble Shepherd

Bishop's mitre made of gilded silver, encrusted with 3326 diamonds, 164 rubies, 198 emeralds and 2 garnets, created by Matteo Treglia in 1714. Part of an exhibit of the treasures of Naples on display in Rome.

I suppose it's "art," though I have to wonder how many people would benefit from the monetary value realized for it upon sale-- people who are supposedly the "sheep" this shepherd is supposed to guard.

But then I'm a secular humanist, after all....
