Solar Carve Tower, New York, by Jeanne Gang

Chicago-based architect Jeanne Gang and her Studio Gang Architects have unveiled their design for their first building in New York. The Solar Carve Tower will occupy a site adjacent to the High Line park, now occupied by an abandoned meat packing plant. The structure is shaped to avoid cutting off light from the High Line, and the facade is faceted so it will not blind anyone with reflected light.

And it looks pretty cool.
