Reminds me of the story of Breznev reviewing a May Day parade. In the midst of the tanks and missiles, a phlanax of men in three piece suits carrying briefcases marched by.

Breznev nudged an aide, and said, "Why are those clowns in the parade? This parade is supposed to demonstrate the destructive power of the revolutionary proletarian state."

The aide replied, "Sir, those are economists. You'd be amazed at the damage they can do!"
