Taking my second son to school, I regularly pass one of those little patches of woods in a vacant spot by the highway, the kind I always wonder about. What lives there? In this case, wild grapes.
And driving across the adjacent highway overpass I admired the Virginia Creeper with its scarlet leaves and purple berries for a week before I got stuck in traffic and was able to take these photos.Crepe myrtle in my yard.
Maple tree up the street.Changing leaves in the bank parking lot.
Asters in my garden. And little wild ones on the Mill Race Trail.
