We had a frost warning last night, so I took a lot of pictures yesterday, in case I woke up to a lot of brown and wilted flowers. (Always a danger with an early spring.) But it looks like the temperature stayed above freezing, and today is another glorious day, Which makes everything else all the stranger.
The forsythia here in the Northern Neck is looking rather sparse and sad, and the Bradford pears never really reached "peak" whiteness. Very odd spring. My "late" daffodils sprouted early but I have exactly one flower beginning to open and no sign of any others.
ReplyDeleteStrange spring in oh so very many ways :(
