Native American masks and costumes photographed on one trip in 1914, now in the
Library of Congress. This is the mask of a Qagyuhl culture hero known as the Octopus Hunter, who kills a giant octopus in a famous tale.
This one is captioned, "Woman wearing a fringed Chilkat blanket, a hamatsa neckring and mask representing deceased relative who had been a shaman."
