French and Indian War Drawings Found During House Renovations in Connecticut

Peeling away old paint and plaster in a 17th-century home in East Hartford, Connecticut, restorers discovered a battle scene drawn on the wall. It probably dates to the French and Indian War, aka, the Seven Years War of 1756-1763. The mural is five feet wide.

Such drawings are pretty common, but this one is remarkable.
Glastonbury Restoration Company owner Steve Bielitz has found plenty of graffiti in the many houses he’s worked on over the years, but nothing even remotely like this.
This looks like a drawing by a child, but experts on this sort of thing say that isn't necessarily true; sometimes it's an adult who just can't draw.
