Johnny Clasper: Stone Mason to Artist

Johnny Clasper, born in Yorkshire in 1977, went to work as a bricklayer and stone mason straight out of high school. Now he is starting to get attention in the art press for his mosaics and walls.

    Spiral earthworks seem to never go out of style with the press for some reason. I find such works somewhat trite, but to each their own I suppose.
