At the Velasquez Exhibit

When I saw this photograph I laughed out loud. Pity the artist who worked in a time when all of his subjects dressed exactly the same, and expected to be painted in pretty much the same way.

    Or maybe he was only good at painting faces, so he clad all his subjects in the same clothes.

    Maybe there was no blue or green paints available?
