Alepotrypa Cave is a famous Neolithic site in Greece, which I wrote about last year. This week the Greek antiquities authorities announced the discovery there of this double burial, dated to 3,800 BCE. The news about the find was not announced until the DNA results came back showing that this was a man and woman -- wouldn't want to make a big deal about two men spooning in the tomb. They were adults, but none of the news accounts says how old they were.
What a nice way to be buried.
