Lidar Reveals the New England Landscape

Lidar is the easy way to map old stone walls and foundations in a forested landscape; this is from a new study done in eastern Connecticut. I tried to do this same trick several years ago in Maryland, but we were too close to Camp David and I couldn't get the government to release the imagery to me.
