Ulric Collette is a Quebecois photographer who likes to make split photos of family members, cutting the faces in half and then photoshopping them together. I saw some of these a while back and thought they looked gross. But this picture amazes me. It looks like older and younger portraits of the same woman, but it is Collette's mother and his daughter. Two generations separate these women, and they share only 25% of their genes. Eerie.
And how wonderful that there are still people named Ulric in the world.
