Forms in Nature by HildenDiaz

Chandelier designed by HildenDiaz, a cooperation of artists Thyra Hilden (born 1972 in Denmark) and Pio Diaz, (born 1973 in Argentina). At low light the projection is fairly even, but if you intensify the light the tree shadows appear. According to the artists,

this creation is partly inspired by Darwininst Ernst Haeckel’s (1834- 1919) detailed plots from nature.

Very cool.

When I saw this image I had a feeling that I had heard of HildenDiaz before, but I couldn't place them until I went to their web site. Their specialty is video installations that make buildings look like they are on fire.
