Celtic Style

I found this La Tene oil lamp for sale at an auction site, which said that it comes from the Alpine area and was made around 100 CE. What a wonderful little thing. It is shaped from a single piece of bronze and could not be called ornate.

But what a sense of style the ancient Celts had.
