Ein Zippori

Israeli archaeologists have completed a major excavation at the Ein Zippori site in Galilee, which yielded remains dating to between the pre-pottery Neolithic (8000 BCE) and the early Bronze Age. Especially impessive were the finds from the Wadi Rabah culture of ca. 5000 BC, including an incised stone showing two ostriches and numerous stone bowls, one full of stone beads (below).
