Le Beau Sancy

Marie de Medici wore it at her coronation as queen consort of France in 1610, and now this 34.98-carat diamond has been sold at auction for $9.7 million. At the same auction, a brooch that includes a yellow diamond once worn by Bonnie Prince Charlie sold for $968,000. Amazing, the things really rich people can own.
