The Cost of Anti-immigrant Policy in Alabama
A careful economic analysis of the costs and benefits of Alabama's strict new immigration law
finds that
it will cause the GDP of the state to shrink by between 1.3 and 6.2 percent and cost the state government $56.7m-264.5m in lost tax revenue.
