The End of Don't Ask, Don't Tell

As the Post put it, the Pentagon is eager to "declare victory and move on." And that is exactly what they should do. They have a job to do and should get on with it. Working out the implications of this freedom is now up to soldiers and sailors themselves. Some will make a hash of it. Most will do ok. That's life.

It is worth pausing to note that another gross injustice has been removed from American life.
