All of the Republican Presidential candidates have come out against the Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill. I am sure the bill has problems, but none of the candidates has offered any concrete suggestions for improving it. They just keep saying that we should deregulate the banks and then let them fail next time they get themselves into trouble.
This is crazy, but enough Americans share this particular madness that taking this stand will probably not hurt the Republican nominee.
